Tibbetts Energy is a spinoff of the comapanies that have been int the Tibbetts family for over 51 years. Marvin Tibbets founded Tibbetts Electrical Contractors in 1971. TIBS Group grew in the 80s and 90s in electrical controls, data centers, communications with various solutions and was merged / acquired by Bill Dean, MC Dean in 2002. As distributed generation, microgrids, technology and the industry has evolved, Todd Tibbetts continues the Tibbetts growth outside of Georgia into other states, CONUS and OCONUS. But, we remain in energy, PPAs, generators, electrical, controls, data, comm, secure mobile, logistics, and technology with strategic relataionships growing many customers with teaming, JVs, Mergers, Acquisitions, and Private Equity.
As the visionary of Tibbetts Logistics and US TeleGration, Todd is responsible for various components with Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A’s), Private Equity, Institutional Investing, Joint Venture, and teaming in for energy, telecommunications, wireless, and facilities support services to assist senior executives and companies with growth strategies so that vision, plan, and roadmap are executed, and companies increase in earnings and value.
A noted technology and energy entrepreneur, Todd has over 33 years of experience in energy, technology (voice, data, video), and business management. He founded US TeleGration (2004) & Tibbetts Logistics (2011) but has been involved in managing energy and electrical services since his youth employment - family business -Tibbetts Electrical Services Inc.
Since then, Tibbetts and US TeleGration have worked with thousands of public/private companies, governments, the United States Department of Defense, and some of the nation’s largest institutions, assisting with billions of dollars of managed energy and technology services. Also, under Todd's direction, the companies have assisted countless organizations to integrate process improvement from outdated technology systems to next-generation, cost-saving, IP-enabled networks and technologies. So, Todd has been an executive, owner, leader, and founder of companies and has successful past performance with thousands of companies and governments of all sizes. Todd has business development and public affairs skills and inquisitive problem-solving skills combined with envisioning creative solutions and successful past performance to provide leadership in energy and technology. He has delivered profitable revenue growth in every business he has participated in.
And, since public affairs to mitigate collective bargaining is essential to Tibbetts’ non-union companies, Todd has developed public affairs skills over time that have been beneficial to Tibbetts merit-based units and worked closely with attorneys and an assortment of legal entities, Federal Government agencies, and State Government agencies. This has produced leadership roles with political affiliations and substantial relationships in the US House, US Senate, POTUS Staff, Defense Department, Georgia House, Georgia Senate, Governors, and legislatures. Concurrently, Tibbetts’ companies have provided various managed services and process improvements for many governments and regulated companies.
Further, he has managed people, processes, and financials, including report preparation, balance sheets, income statements, cash flow projections, and the assimilation of technology tools so that businesses and boards can get real-time encapsulated snapshots of the past, present, and future of the entity.
A longtime Georgia resident, he has a B.S. in Business with a minor in Accounting from Berry College in Rome, GA. Todd is also a graduate of the Coverdell Leadership Institute and is active in numerous churches, mission, civic, and business organizations, some of which include board member and board advisory positions in charities and mission organizations.
